An extremely well presented and sort after Omega Constellation Pie Pan Automatic watch. The highly reliable automatic 551 Calibre movement has recently been serviced. Can be admired at a formal event or even just a lazy day at home. The dial has been professionally restored to an extremely high standard. Comes with a beautiful, high quality wooden after market Omega Box, which also has a Omega travel pouch.
Servicing the movement requires detailed and precise work, the dial and the hands are removed along with the mechanism (which consist of over 100 parts). Prior to reassembling every part is pre-treated, thoroughly cleaned.
Once the watch has been carefully assembled it is then placed onto a timing machine to examine the timekeeping, usually, there are several tweaks involved to ensure the timing keeping exceeds expectations.
