Original Vintage Gruen PanAmerican Pan Am Pilots Mens Watch 1940s 17J Serviced

This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1940. This is beautiful, clean, and in very good condition.

This has been totally cleaned and the movement has been serviced. The watch runs well and keeps time.

The time sets as it should. The case is plated metal with a Guildite stainless steel back and it is about 33mm wide not including the crown. It is about 40mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a high quality Gruen 420SS and it has 17 jewels.

The band is a new, good quality Italian leather replacement. The total length of the watch is about 8 1/2 inches. This uses an 18 mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures.
