A major Seiko milestone piece, the worlds first 24 hour digital liquid crystal display Wristwatch from seiko. Ultimate pilots birth year watch August 1978 from the serial number on the Caseback. Exceptional overall condition, PLEASE NOTE This watch has its original SEIKOSHA SUWA FACTORY brushed and polished finish on both the case and the bracelet. With 1970s original seiko box, please see all pictures for how beautiful the case lines and the condition of the display is. NOTE: There are some minor cat hair scratches in a few places on the case and display but they are extremely hard to notice. This watch belonged to my uncle and he wore it in the foreign service and took very good care, before putting in his upstairs drawer and leaving it for many years!

There is an indication that the battery has been changed over time with the typical marks on the battery door. The watch features the original Z129 stainless bracelet is which is intact and fits well on approximately 7 inch mens wrist.
